01

Fund a fellowship

Help underwrite compensation, benefits, training, and the support that makes a full year possible.

02

Support the cohort

Make a flexible gift toward program leadership, host development, evaluation, and the operating structure behind the fellows.

03

Sponsor the program

Explore institutional support for a learning series, cohort experience, or first-year program need.

04

Mentor a fellow

Bring an hour a month, practical experience, and a willingness to help someone think through real work.

One target. One verified gap.

The first-cohort budget is still being finalized. We will publish the board-approved target and documented commitments together, then update the remaining need as gifts are accepted.

Planning estimates are not commitments. We will replace this status with one verified funding tracker.

The fellow is only one part of a good fellowship.

The launch budget will make each of these costs visible.

01

Compensation & benefits

A credible paid year, with role-level terms disclosed before applications open.

02

Host & project support

Role design, supervisor preparation, project scoping, and hands-on troubleshooting.

03

Learning & mentorship

Cohort sessions, senior mentors, convenings, and practical career support.

04

Program backbone

Selection, safeguarding, operations, evaluation, finance, and public reporting.

One useful hour a month.

Mentors will be matched around relevant experience, meet with a fellow roughly monthly during the program year, and help the fellow think—not take over the work.

  • Listen before solving
  • Offer practical judgment and candid feedback
  • Respect host confidentiality and program boundaries
  • Raise concerns through the Foundation, not around the fellow

A few important things to know.

Tax status

Arden Clark Foundation is a Minnesota nonprofit corporation and an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. EIN: 41-3638688. Contributions support the fellowship and related charitable leadership-development programs and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Unless stated otherwise, no goods or services are provided in exchange.

Program preferences

Preferences are nonbinding. The Foundation retains control and discretion over contributed funds and uses them to further its charitable purposes. A legally restricted gift is accepted only through a written agreement signed by the Foundation.

Sponsorship benefits

If a sponsorship includes goods, services, or other benefits, only the amount above their fair-market value may be tax-deductible. Any benefits and their estimated value will be disclosed before payment.

Supporting fellows

Please do not earmark a tax-deductible gift for a named person. The Foundation independently selects fellows and cannot guarantee that a gift will benefit any particular individual.

Acknowledgments

After an accepted gift clears, the Foundation will provide a charitable acknowledgment stating the gift amount and whether any goods or services were provided. Please consult your tax adviser about your circumstances.

Mentor interest

Submitting an interest form does not guarantee a match. Mentors may be screened and must follow Foundation policies. The value of volunteer time is not tax-deductible; some unreimbursed expenses may be.
